Volunteer today! Each year over one million Americans serve as Red Cross volunteers serving local community needs — helping people in emergencies, providing half the nation's blood supply, teaching first aid and CPR courses, delivering emergency messages to members of the military, organizing programs for the elderly and the young.
Red Cross volunteers work directly with people, serve on boards of directors, serve as managers, advisors, and provide behind-the-scenes support. They assist with blood drives, provide disaster relief and education, and train others in lifesaving first aid and CPR techniques.
Blood Services
We are committed to maintaining a safe and adequate blood supply for patients in area hospitals. Volunteers may assist as greeters and canteen volunteers at the Blood Center and blood drives.
